Marine Electrics

Malbar Marine Electrics Pty Ltd was established in January 1976 and is a privately owned Company. The Company celebrates thirty six (36) years of dedicated service to the marine industry in 2012 and is     based at the North Sydney Marine Centre, John St, North Sydney. They specialise in marine installations, repairs, system design and consultancy.

Concentrating in one area of expertise has enabled Malbar Marine Electrics Pty Ltd to become specialists     in their field. All staff are experienced in the fields of marine engineering, marine electrics and marine electronics.

Work is undertaken on all classes of watercraft including large ships, commercial vessels and small craft.     In addition to these vessels Malbar Marine Electrics Pty Ltd is experienced in repair of submarine and submersible craft.

Where possible repairs are carried out 'in-house', however on site service is also available. The scope of repairs carried out includes DC systems (from 6-200VDC) and ac systems (from 32-440Vac). Work undertaken includes distribution systems, generation and control equipments, repair and overhaul of  starter motors, alternators, generators, motors, switchboards and their associated supply, distribution      and management systems.

Malbar Marine Electrics Pty Ltd is Quality Assured to ISO 9003. The Company regularly conducts in house training programmes for its own staff. They also develop and deliver training programmes for Clients who include: The Australian Department of Defence (Army and Navy), Defence Maritime Services and various Commercial clients.

The wide range of work carried out is reflected in Malbar Marine Electrics Pty Ltd client base. Clients   include: The Australian Department of Defence (Army and Navy); Foreign Navies (RNZN, USN, Italian), International Shipping Companies, Commercial customers, yacht and motor boat clubs and private boat owners.

Every customer has their own specific and unique needs - every vessel its own individual characteristics. Malbar Marine Electrics Pty Ltd is able to design systems to cater for these unique requirements.
